Sometimes writing feels like a fill in the blank test. You have this neat idea that you just want to jump into but you can’t. You know if you were to jump right in you would jeopardize quality over a solid idea.


The remake had great moments. It was funny, had a great opening and maybe one good action sequence. It almost cut and pasted good ideas and layered a thin plot around it to fill the story.


Instead of filling in the blank we need to create context. And remember….
